Community-based rehabilitation in a Tanzanian hospital

The rehabilitation programme contributes towards poverty alleviation by responding to the lack of accessible and affordable services for disabled people in Tanzania. The hospital uses the funds that are paid by wealthier patients to cover the costs of operations on those who cannot afford any medical care.
