Mark Howell and Morag Livingstone, the founders of Nutmeg, won the 2006 Deutsche Bank Award for Photography for conceiving and developing Nutmeg.
The Deutsche Bank Awards are open to graduates of a number of high-ranking London Arts Colleges
including the University of Arts, London where Mark and Morag obtained Masters Degrees in Photojournalism and Documentary
Photography. In addition to photography, there are awards in the fields of art, design, music, drama, fashion and
dance.
“With the backing of Deutsche Bank’s Award Scheme, some of the brightest, most innovative young graduates in the creative and performing arts are receiving the resources they need to tackle major freelance projects to start new businesses. The winners – recognised for their innovation and entrepreneurship, rather than for their artistic excellence – receive a cash prize and the support of a Deutsche Bank business mentor who helps them deliver on their business plan.”
